WOMEN'S WELLNESS RETREAT

Join us for the CHMK Women’s Wellness Retreat.  Women from all walks of life affected by Type 1 Diabetes will be immersed in social connection and emotional wellness, through a balance of relaxation and fun, while engaging in sessions and camp activities designed to build camaraderie and support.

This unique weekend is all about disconnecting from the daily grind, caring for yourself without distractions, being vulnerable, tapping into a community of T1D caregivers who understand, and creating memories to last a lifetime. Open to all women with and without Type 1 Diabetes.

The Experience

The Retreat is inclusive of the following:

 

  • Lodging in a shared cabin
  • Five hearty and healthy meals 
  • Yoga Session
  • “Sip and Paint” Session
  • Onsite Masseuse for an extra fee
  • Interactive Self-Care Management Opportunities
  • Engaging Sessions such as Caregiver Burnout, Stress/Anxiety/Depression/Anger, Managing T1D Family Life, Nutrition, and other relevant topics
  • An opportunity to socialize and build new friendships through a variety of onsite activities including Hiking, Campfires, Challenge Course, Boating, and more!
  • The opportunity to spend the weekend with leading medical professionals from various Healthcare System

$100 / Person

Space is limited to 25 Participants

       Upon registering, if you have not already, you will
       be  required to create a new Participant/Family
       profile in our system, CampSite. From here, please
       include yourself as a participant/camper and go                       through the process of choosing the Women’s                         Wellness option and completing payment. If you
