Join us for a fun and engaging evening celebrating the Camp Ho Mita Koda Foundation and the T1D community.

Our annual Backpack Bivouac fundraiser and celebration is back for the 30th year this year as we raise funds to allow us to continue offering unparalleled camp experiences and community for children and participants living with diabetes.

We take pride in our ability to offer traditional camp experiences with fun and engaging diabetes education and 24/7 medical care. Perhaps most importantly, our camps foster the ability for these youth to build relationships and community, realizing they are not alone in living with diabetes. The Camp Ho Mita Koda Foundation would not be possible without the generous donations of time, money, and supplies from our T1D community.

Event Itinerary

4:00 – 6:00 pm                   Hayrides, ‘Decade & Memorial’ Cabin, Camp Activities, Silent Auction, Raffles, Wine Pull,                                                            Appetizers, 50/50, Open Bar, Live Music, and much more!

5:00 – 6:00 pm                    Live Music & Food Available in Pavilion: Buffet Style

6:00 – 7:00 pm                    Formal Program Begins: ‘State of Camp’ Address, Speakers, Awards, Fund-A-Cause

7:00 – 8:00 pm                    Bonfire and Smores 

 

Event Details

 

Silent Auction
Our silent auction features many incredible items, from fun gift baskets . Write your bid number on the line that corresponds to the amount that you would like to bid.  Items will be available to take home as guests check out.

Dinner & Drinks
A catered meal will be available, along with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres. 

Fund-A-Cause
This evening, you have the opportunity to make a direct contribution to our mission and help fund our campership program and dedicated facilities project.

Live Auction
Our live auction features items/experiences for guests to bid on. It’s competitive and sometimes a nail-biting experience for bystanders, wondering who will end up claiming their prize. It is always a wonderful time for everyone.

50/50 Raffle
A 50/50 raffle is like a party where someone could leave with a cash prize. Participants purchase tickets, and the winner walks away with half the total money raised while the rest goes straight to your charity. The cool thing about a 50/50 raffle is that the more entries you get, the more the pot grows.

Basket Raffle
True to their name, raffle baskets feature a collection of themed items beautifully arranged in a basket and raffled off as a fundraising prize.

Wine Pull
Supporters will purchase ‘wine pulls’ for a set price. They can then pull a wrapped wine bottle (wrapped to hide the bottle and value) from a selection of expensive, medium range, and cheap wines.
