Specialty Camps
We believe summer is a time for being outdoors, having wonderful experiences, making friends, and coming together as a community. We foster this sense of exploration, creativity, and growth by engaging with each child (and their families), learning about their goals and needs, and helping them achieve their goals. Whether the goal is to hit a bullseye in archery, pass a swim test, make new friends, tackle homesickness or tell a great joke to a large audience, our staff listen to our campers every day and help them every step of the way.
Camp Registration
We look after each child’s physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.
As a small midwestern traditional summer camp, we provide one-on-one engagement and encouragement with each camper. Put simply, no child falls through the cracks at Ho Mita Koda. Our cabin staff and activity staff are specially trained to watch and listen to what is going on with each camper, where they are excelling and where they are having difficulty. Our low camper-to-staff ratio enables us to meet our campers’ needs and ensure all our campers have a happy, healthy, and positive summer camp experience.
Mini Camp!
Our Mini-Camp program is a shortened version of our traditional camp sessions, which allows campers the opportunity to “test the waters” of camp or fit in a session that works better with their summer schedules.
Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy all of the great things about camp, but packed into a 5-day experience instead of 7 days.

Adventure Bridge Program
The CHMK Adventure Bridge program exists for campers who just cannot get enough of CHMK and want to extend their stay for an additional week! Currently, this option is available for eligible campers enrolled for Sessions 4 & 5 for grades 7-11.
The Adventure Bridge program allows campers to remain onsite at camp through the transitional days between the two sessions to continue an uninterrupted experience. During this period, campers can still count on the high level of medical care to continue, great food, and non-stop action and adventure. We will even do your campers’ laundry to ensure they are 100% ready to tackle another full week of fun!
This program is an optional add-on to enrollment and not required for attendance to both sessions, and is not eligible for the early bird discount.
