Welcome to Camp Ho Mita Koda A destination event venue where you can relax, recharge, and reconnect.
A special occasion calls for a special venue. Housed on the grounds of a summer camp, our unique gathering space is perfect for celebrating life’s special moments.
We work directly with organizations and individuals to create customized, memorable experiences. Nestled along the shores of Founders Lake, Camp Ho Mita Koda is a three-season facility surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
Features include four-season cabins that sleep up to 130, a temperature-controlled dining hall and meeting spaces, an outdoor pavilion, 7 acre private lake, campfire circle, sports fields, an outdoor education center, centrally located bathhouse, space for tent or RV camping, and so much more!
Our waterfront features areas for swimming and fishing, as well as canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. Our land-based activities include High Ropes and Low Ropes Challenge Course, Rock Climbing, Swimming Pool, Mountain Biking, Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, Arts & Crafts, and many more staff-led programs.
With a number of lodging options and meeting spaces, we serve a diverse number of groups including youth retreats, church retreats, adult retreats, weddings, family reunions, community meetings, board meetings, summer camp programs, school groups and much more.
*Please note that full-facility rentals are generally not available during our summer season, approximately May 1 – August 15.
Bachelorette & Bachelor Parties
Bring your tribe together for a last fling before the ring. In great proximity located to all that Cleveland has to offer, our team will customize a full weekend experience that’s sure to be a blast.
Corporate Retreats
Camp Ho Mita Koda is the place where you can bring the boardroom to the backwoods for a corporate retreat. We’ll help you program, schedule, and conceptualize your team’s time on and around the property. From on-site activities and meetings to off-site excursions, we’ve got you covered.
Family Reunions / Parties
A successful family reunion or birthday party begins with picking the right place for your loved ones. We have plenty of space and tons of activities to get your entire family together, including your cousins twice removed.

Facility Rentals Are Subject To The Following
- The ‘A La Carte’ options do not include access to facilities/building/program areas which are not included in the rental agreement nor are they subject to exclusive use of the property.
- Supplementary activities, program areas, buildings, staff, food service, and other amenities are available at an additional cost.
- Weddings fall under a different program and pricing structure.
- For all rentals, a $250 refundable cleaning/damage deposit, 50% of the total rental fee, and a signed agreement are required to reserve the facility and desired dates. For full-facility rentals longer than 3 days, please contact the camp office for more information on pricing and availability.
- All posted rates are subject to change based on availability, season, etc. The current rate can be confirmed with our camp office.
- Full facility rentals may include access to program/activity areas as a part of the agreement at a negotiated price.
