2025 Late Pick-Up Guidelines
Dear Camp Ho Mita Koda Families,
We’re excited to announce that this year we’ll be returning to our traditional Friday evening checkout, allowing campers to wrap up their session with a full day of activities before reuniting with families that evening. We believe this return to our previous schedule will enhance the camp experience by welcoming families into our closing campfire, experiencing our award ceremony as well as the session slideshow!
To support families who may find it challenging to pick up on Friday evening due to distance (100+ miles) or commitments such as work, we’re offering a limited Saturday morning pickup option. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with prior approval from the Camp Director.
Late Pickup Details:
- Availability: Limited spaces, approved by the Camp Director.
- Request Process: To request late pickup, please email us at info@camphomitakoda.org no later than 30 days before your camper’s session begins, explaining the reasoning behind the request. As always, however, we remain flexible in emergent situations.
- Pickup Time: Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., the day after the sessions intended end.
- Exclusions: This option is not available for Session 3 (Mini Camp).
